After all the thrills and spills of the US Open, it's time for some Davis Cup action.

The dust has settled on another dramatic fortnight at Flushing Meadows. After earthquakes, hurricanes, dopey official decisions oh and the odd bit of tennis, Novak Djokovic and Sam Stosur emerged from the pack to claim the final major prize of the 2011 season.
But the action never stops for long. We've got Davis Cup semi-final weekend coming up as Serbia host Argentina and a super strong Spanish side do battle with France. It will be interesting to see how much of a part Novak Djokovic and Rafael Nadal play after that brutal four hour final on Monday night which left both men physically broken by the end. Serbia still have Janko Tipsarevic and Viktor Troicki but without their talisman, suddenly victory's looking far from certain and if Nadal opts to sit out the weekend, then Jo-Wilfried Tsonga and Gilles Simon will be looking to pounce for France.

There's also a fascinating World Group playoff between Switzerland and Australia. US Open heartache behind him as he takes on old rival Lleyton Hewitt and the youthful vigour of Bernard Tomic. All that is to come and there's plenty of live tennis on offer on the WTA Tour with Quebec being streamed all week and the Tashkent Open being streamed from Friday.
On the lower tiers of the tour, the never-ending clay-court season continues with the Todi Challenger and an ITF event in Mestre.
